Although Neurosonology was originally designed for
neonatal applications, obstetrical sonographers have found much of the material applicable for fetal
evaluation, especially transvaginal evaluation of the fetal head in the late second and third trimesters.
These courses were recently revised and extended and include extensive new imaging atlases.
The Fetal Echocardiography course breaks down the complex study of the fetal heart
into understandable and useable information about embryology, hemodynamics, scanning views and techniques.
There is extensive coverage of the echocardiographic appearances of the normal heart as well as
congenital and acquired cardiac pathology. A video disk is provided with a variety of normal and
abnormal fetal echocardiograms.
Completion of the Neurosonology and Fetal Echocardiography courses will greatly
enhance your knowledge and understanding of the fetal brain and heart and give you greater
clinical confidence.
A great way to earn CME credits and advance your personal education and clinical acumen.
