Non-Invasive Vascular Technology (NIVT) is a
comprehensive, five module course which covers and exceeds all the information required
for the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Vascular Ultrasound Registry.
Candidates who are successful on the CCI Vascular Ultrasound Registry can use the designation
Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS).
Our course notes are well written, include lots of diagrams, and are easy to follow. At the end of
each module is an open-book assignment test which you complete and return to Burwin for marking.
The test is returned to you with an explanation of the correct answer.
When all five assignment tests have been completed, there is an optional closed-book examination
which tests your knowledge and is a simulation of the Registry examination.
No other textbooks are required.
Our course notes are portable so you can carry them in a binder with you and study
"Anytime, Anywhere, At Your Convenience".

This course has been approved by the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (SDMS) 30
continuing medical education (CME) Credit hours. These CME's are accepted by CCI.
