This two part course (#034 and #035) is aimed at preparing the student for the performance of high resolution ultrasound examinations of the musculoskeletal (MSK) system, as well as anyone interested in obtaining CME credits, or learning more about (MSK) ultrasound in general.
All materials necessary for completion of this two part course are included in the course manual and image atlas.
Each marked assignment is returned to the student with an explanatory answer key indicating the correct response. At the end of the course, the student has the option of writing a "closed book" final examination under the supervision of an invigilator.
This course has been approved for 20 CME credits by the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (SDMS). A CME certificate is issued to the student with the completion of the fourth assignment. The final examination does not have to be taken to receive CME credits.
