This course is one of a pair of Registry preparation courses designed to prepare the applicant for the successful completion of their Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) credential. This course is totally self contained. Four separate modules lead the student through basic ultrasound physics and instrumentation and on to study the physical principles behind blood flow. The course is updated frequently to reflect the changing standards in vascular diagnostic equipment and techniques. Designed using the Registry Test Content Outline, this course will facilitate studying, helping the student to grasp the many topics that are essential for the successful completion of the Vascular Physics Registry exam.

This course has been evaluated by the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (SDMS) and has been approved for 40 continuing medical education (CME) credits.
