CVPI is primarily a registry credentialing examination preparation course. The registry CVPI examination must be passed by those students whose goal is to be credentialed in Adult or Pediatric Echocardiography.
CVPI is designed as a user friendly course written by experienced sonographers with extensive teaching experience.
The course focuses on both theoretical and practical issues essential for the CVPI registry examination. The course is organized into four major learning units or modules - one which covers cardiovascular principles, and three which cover ultrasound physics & instrumentation. Major topic categories covered in each module are listed for your information. The majority of students who successfully complete this course pass the CVPI registry examination.
This is a comprehensive course which does not require other textbooks. If further information is needed on any aspect of the course, the instructors will be glad to advise you of other sources of information.
