Ultrasound Physics & Instrumentation

Course Code - 002

Price: $450.00

This ultrasound physics course is designed to help qualifying candidates pass the ARDMS examination in ultrasound physics and instrumentation.

This course does not focus on a mathematical treatment of physics because it is not necessary to be skilled at problem-solving to gain a good understanding of physical principles, especially clinically-oriented or applied physics. Although the emphasis is on clinically-oriented physics, there is some theory which is covered essentially for registry purposes and for which there is little clinical application or relevance. Students are expected to know and understand some common equations but more from a conceptual or relational aspect.

The course provides several hundred questions similar to those found on the registry examination. The final examination is an excellent barometer of your knowledge and preparation level for the registry examination.

This course has been evaluated by the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (SDMS) and has been approved for 40 continuing medical education (CME) credits.
